The soccer programs are very good and have knowledgeable leadership… Our son has enjoyed the soccer sessions and has grown by leaps and bounds, both emotionally and physically.

Fitness center policies and procedures

Welcome to THE WISC FITNESS Center! We are proud of our beautiful new addition that boasts of state-of-the-art fitness and wellness equipment and a variety of fitness activities for the entire family! Before you get started, please take a moment to familiarize yourself with our current policies that have been put in place for your safety and comfort. Once you have read these policies and signed the waiver, you will be ready to work out!

WISC Center Etiquette

Please observe circuit-training etiquette. Do not jump in front of a person in the line; either allow others to work in with you when doing sets, or limit your exercise to only one set per machine during peak hours.

  • Profanity will not be tolerated.
  • No gym bags are allowed in the Fitness area. This is to prevent theft of both your bag and our equipment. So please place all personal belongings in a locker immediately prior to entering the fitness area, or in the cubicles near the front desk.
  • Please replace all weight plates and equipment to their original storage places and wipe down the machines you use after exercising. DO NOT DROP OR BANG THE WEIGHTS! Please do not place weights on top of benches; the material will wear out over time.
  • No food or drinks are permitted in the Fitness area; only closed contained water bottles will be allowed.
  • Please report any damaged or poorly functioning equipment to a welcome desk attendant.
    If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. We are here to make sure you have a great workout!
  • If at any time while you are at the Fitness Center and you begin to feel symptoms such as chest pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, or experience any type of severe discomfort, stop exercising immediately, stay calm and notify a staff member immediately!!

Dress Code

  • Members and guests must be dressed appropriately. Shirts must be worn at all times. No attire that exposes the midriff or naval may be worn in the fitness area.
  • Proper shoes must be worn at all times. Absolutely no bare feet or open-toes/open-heeled shoes of any kind are permitted in the fitness area.
  • absolutely no jeans or material that have rivets, zippers, or protruding metal pieces (including belts) will be permitted in the fitness area while working out. This is to protect our upholstery over time.
  • Please bring a towel to wipe your seat off!

Children's Policy

  • **No one under 15 is permitted in the Fitness Area unsupervised!!**
  • Children may be admitted under certain circumstances. In these cases, children ages 8-14 may be admitted to the kid's gym accompanied by an adult. After completing 3 orientation sessions with the fitness staff, children may use the kids gym without a parent during supervised training hours.

Lockers

  • Lockers are for “day-use” only. You must have all items removed at the end of the day or your lock will be cut off. All personal items left in the Fitness Center will be kept in the lost and found. Items left unclaimed for more than 30 days will be discarded or donated to charity. The WISC is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
